Car and General has added a construction equipment range, a 12 tonne ACE soil and asphalt compactor, in a move that is expected to commercially empower players in the construction space.

The company whose services and products range from supply of generators to motorbikes, three wheelers and lawn mowers, construction equipment, power generation and engineering products backed by service and repairs, is vying for a piece of the construction sector, so it seems.

ACE is fitted with a turbo charged water cooled fuel efficient engine to ensure no loss of power at high attitudes and an adequate size fuel tank for uninterrupted workflow. While the compactor’s open cabin gives the operator clear visibility, its downward exhaust protects the driver from fumes.

In addition, the choice of low speed range for vibratory operation and maximum torque and high speed range provides faster inter site movements. The engine bonnet lifts easily providing good ground level access for daily battery, fuel and air filters, oil level dipstick and cooling systems maintenance checks.
