Airtel Kenya has opened a new shop in Meru town to enhance convenience by bringing service closer to its customers.

The shop, located at Greenwood City Mall, Meru town, brings to a total of 66 Airtel customer care shops spread across 39 counties within the country. This is in addition to the over 2000 Airtel outlets that support customers across the country.

Speaking during the launch, Airtel Kenya Managing Director, Mr. Ashish Malhotra said customers visiting the shop will benefit from a wide array of services including SIM card acquisition, postpaid premier products, Airtel Money services, purchase of data devices, i.e., pocket MiFi and routers, and a variety of mobile handsets. In addition, personal assistance on product inquiries will be offered.

“Customer experience is a core focus for our business, and in everything we do, we have to ensure we create memorable experiences across our products and services portfolio. It is for this reason that we shall continue to invest in expanding our service footprint through our Airtel customer care outlets across the country,” said Malhotra.

The new Meru shop will offer a comprehensive range of services and products tailored to meet the diverse needs of Airtel consumers within Meru County and its environs. The shop’s operating hours are between 9 am to 6 pm on Mondays through to Saturdays and on Sundays, from 11 am to 5 pm.

The Meru shop opening comes six months after the company launched the first of its kind ‘Airtel Customer Care on Wheels bus’ in Kisumu, to bring personalized service closer to its customers in the Western region.
