as expansion plans continue.
A look at this growth portends great things for the telecommunications brand, with latest data by the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) showing that customer centric innovation and agent network has long been a contributor to customers growth.
“We are deeply humbled by the support of over 24 million customers who continue to believe in us. This is not the destination, it is part of a longer journey. We are committed to Kenya, and whilst we have made huge investments, our mission of enriching lives and driving progress is still not done,” Ashish Malhotra, the Airtel Kenya managing director, said during the launch of Airtel’s network coverage campaign dubbed “Na Bado Tunagrow”.
Airtel is steadily growing at a time when latest CA data shows a remarkable 145.3 per cent penetration rate and the new milestone of over 24 million customers demonstrate how deeply ingrained mobile has become in the daily life of Kenyans.
“With the recent upgrade of our Airtel Money platform, which brings speedy, reliable, and innovative services, we are seeing more Kenyans trusting us with their financial needs and we continue to improve as we promote financial inclusion,” said Malhotra.
Over the years, the company has been big in towns like Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu; now it has spread its tentacles rapidly boasting of branches in the North Eastern region as well as in the underserved areas of Mandera, Wajir, and Garissa, thereby offering connectivity and digital
access opportunity.
Additionally, the ‘Na Bado Tunagrow’ campaign is a reflection of Airtel’s ongoing journey driven by the trust of its customers and the belief that every Kenyan deserves access to reliable and modern digital services.
“This is a thank you to every Kenyan who has supported our journey. We are not done. We will continue to grow, improve, and serve; Na bado tunagrow,” Malhotra concluded.
