The Good

Pastoralists in northern part of Kenya are the first beneficiaries of a sharia-compliant insurance cover that compensates for livestock deaths linked to drought.

 

The Bad

Budget and Appropriations Committee and its counterpart on Finance and Trade appeared to agree with Attorney-General Githu Muigai on the Anglo- Leasing debt payments in the face of accrued interest in their report tabled in the National Assembly on 29th April.

The Ugly

Supporters for the troubled governor Martin Wambora’s tried in vain to go to State House to petition President Kenyatta to dissolve the Embu County Assembly which has voted to impeach him for a second time.
