The dates

The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament kicks off today, Saturday, January 13 and ends on February 11, 2024 in Cote d’Ivoire.

The big matches

The Nairobi Law Monthly September Edition

Football giants Morocco, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Algeria, Senegal and Nigeria will meet at the group stage with Cote d’Ivoire and Nigeria both in Group A, Egypt and Ghana in Group B and Senegal and Cameroon in Group C. These encounters are considered the finals before the final.

The venues

Six stadiums will feature in the football showpiece.

In Abidjan, the capital city, action will be at Alassane Ouattara Stadium and Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium

In Bouake, the matches will be played at Stade de la Paix

In Korhogo, action will be at Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium

In San-Pedro, the matches will be played at the Laurent Pokou Stadium

And in Yamoussoukro, teams will face of at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium.
