“We are delighted to open our 67th customer care shop in Maralal town, as we continue to expand our network and reach across the country. This expansion is in line with our commitment to improve accessibility and convenience for our customers, aligning with our brand promise,” said Ashish Malhotra, managing director of Airtel Kenya.

“We are confident that this new shop will not only enhance our service delivery to the residents of Maralal and its surroundings but also generate employment opportunities within the local community,” the MD added.

Goldermier Opiyo, Customer Experience Director of Airtel Kenya, echoed Malhotra’s sentiments.

“We are glad to launch our first shop in Samburu County, and specifically in Maralal town which is the county’s headquarters. Strategically positioned, our shop in Maralal town not only provides easier access to customers within the town but also from across the county,” she said.

The customer care shop will serve as a central hub for a variety of services, ranging from SIM card acquisition, SIM swaps, postpaid premier products, Airtel Money services, purchase of data devices, that is pocket MiFi and routers to general support on customer queries.

The new shop ties into Airtel’s rapid network expansion drive, having recently commissioned additional sites in Samburu County to provide Airtel customers with the best voice and mobile broadband data experience.

Operational hours for the shop are set from 8:30 am to 6pm on Mondays through Friday and from 10am to 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
