Established in 1920, Windhoek Beer is brewed in Namibia using three natural ingredients: malted barley, hops, and water delivering a pure and uncompromised flavour.

“Kenya’s beer lovers are becoming more discerning, and Windhoek’s commitment to purity and quality aligns perfectly with this growing demand,” said Lina Githuka, Managing Director of KWAL.

Ms Githuka added that the launch, coming at a time when consumers are increasingly seeking premium and craft beers particularly for social occasions, is part of the brewer’s continuous strategy to expand its portfolio with “world-class offerings” in a number of categories.

“We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional beverages for every occasion, whether it’s beer, wine, spirits, or ciders. Windhoek Beer is a perfect addition, reinforcing our leadership in the market and providing Kenyan consumers with even more high-quality choices,” she said.

According to Jonas Geeraerts, commercial director at KWAL, there’s a growing demand for premium beers in Kenya. “There’s a noticeable shift in consumer preferences in Kenya, with a growing appreciation for authentic, high-quality beers. Windhoek Beer, with its rich heritage and superior craftsmanship, is poised to capture the attention of Kenyan beer enthusiasts,” said Geeraerts.

With the Kenyan beer market becoming more dynamic, KWAL continues to lead the way, introducing new products to cater to the evolving tastes of local consumers.

“This is just one more example of our commitment to bringing the best beverage options to the Kenyan market,” Geeraerts said.
