You may have noticed that successful entrepreneurs spent months and years to get to where they are. And the ones who pack powerful punches have always put reputation as their most valuable career and business asset. It is easy to see this X factor on Peter Nduati, the founder of Resolution Health East Africa Limited who is also doubling as the Chief Executive and Director.

Mr Nduati was determined to bring change in the insurance sector despite the fact that so many players are competing for the same piece of the market. The chartered insurer has proactively and continuously positioned himself and his business for success having began in 2001 after quitting a senior job at AAR, a leading Kenyan health insurer back then.
He started dreaming about it in 1993 when he discovered that there was no innovation in the industry. He founded First Benefits Ltd and partnered with Metropolitan Health Group of South Africa. The partnership, however, failed.

With a capital of Sh40 million raised from family and two angel investors, he signed yet another joint venture deal with an outfit owned by Resolution Health of South Africa. He later bought out the mother company and adopted its name. Resolution Health East Africa was officially launched in November 2003, making it the first registered medical insurance provider in Kenya.

It is not all of the Kenyan Insurance Industry as he owns and manages a record label called Pine Creek Records and is the immediate former Director of National squads in the Kenya Rugby football Union. He played rugby for Impala Club in the National League and is the Chairman of the rugby club.

Nduati is a Mentor with the Greenhorn Mentorship programme and is a member of the organizations Board of Advisors. He is also involved in AIESEC (an organization for students interested in commerce and business) and is the current chair of the board of Daystar University’s local chapter.
