A move by motor vehicle distributor, Toyota Kenya to open its 9th outlet in Nanyuki strengthens its presence in the Mt Kenya region

After an investment of over Sh 30mn, Toyota Kenya Nanyuki becomes the second branch in the region after Nyeri Toyota, with Mutindwa Toyota in Meru County operating as a dealer.

The firm’s managing director, Arvinder Reel said the new outlet is set to offer more products and services.

“We continue enhancing services in our expanding network for the convenience of the customer by continuously developing products and services to match the customers’ needs and wants, and at the right prices,” said Arvinder Reel, Toyota Kenya’s managing director.

“Our new showroom in Nanyuki means that our customers can now access our state-of-the-art workshop and reliable Toyota trained technicians,” added Mr Reel.

This means that customers from Laikipia County and beyond will get to interact with brands that include Toyota, Hino trucks and buses, Yamaha motorcycles and Suzuki.

According to the Governor of Laikipia County, Ndiritu Muriithi, the opening of the branch is a validation of the opportunities that the county offers for businesses and enterprises to thrive and flourish.

“My Government is committed to building a conducive and enabling environment across the board so that we are able to create employment opportunities, wealth and success for our people,” said Mr Muriithi.

Lauding the County’s economic achievements under the #DestinationLaikipia banner, Mr Reel said that Toyota Kenya was ready to play a key role as a facilitator to further growth through investments such as the new showroom with products that will support the agricultural and tourism sectors.

Toyota Kenya operates a three-channel network in its operations whereby the branches and the dealers can offer vehicle sales, service and spare parts. The authorised service centres on the other hand offer services and spare parts.
